The German Shepherd Rescue community has a strong networking and transport
capability along the eastern and southern corridors of the United States,
but it
has been very difficult from the Rocky Mountains to
California. Thus GSDwest is born.
This new forum is to connect all the Rescues and Volunteers in the areas shown in tan on the
map shown here. Our primary geographical focus encompasses the area west of the Mississippi River, and also including a little jaunt along I-70 and I-80 to the eastern Ohio border and including Kentucky and Tennessee.
Our
goal is to make a
solid rescue network from coast to coast. Whether a dog needs someone to pull,
hold, transport, or needs to find a forever home, this forum will
provide a central clearing house for those who wish to help rescue and re-home purebred German Shepherd Dogs.
Together we can build a stronger network and thus a stronger
GSD rescue community.
There may be a bit of
overlap, so if you
are a little over a line that is fine. The more
rescuers we have the better.
Thank you all
for joining us. See you there!!
